An afternoon with the Operations Crew<\/h2>\n

There\u2019s a buzz of activity in the port when the operations department is at work. A close-knit team ensures that everything runs smoothly \u2014 from infrastructure maintenance to vessel services and safety inspections.<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the team\u2019s most extensive areas of responsibility is the Energy Port. When ships unload and load liquid products, it\u2019s the operations crew who make sure that the control stations and safety checks are manned and that the work proceeds safely and efficiently. They are present throughout many of the steps and form an essential part of the port\u2019s operations.<\/p>\n

One afternoon, photographer Jens \u00d6kvist joined parts of the team to document their work. Through his photos, we get a glimpse into a daily life that rarely meets the public eye but is crucial to the port\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n
