Due to the fact that it is 50 years since the harbor at Haraholmen was inaugurated, Pite\u00e5 Hamn and ShoreLink invited the public to a big harbor day. At least 2 000 people came to mingle on the quayside. The icebreaker YMER from the Swedish Maritime Administration was particularly appreciated during the day.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n There is great interest in the port and its operations. This was shown by the weekend’s visitor numbers. At least 2,000 people came to \u201dHamndagen\u201d to participate in the 50th anniversary celebration of the harbor at Haraholmen. It was a successful family day with activities, hamburger service and coffee.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Visitors had the opportunity to board the icebreaker YMER, talk to the Coast Guard and the Pite\u00e5 Sea Rescue Society, visit ShoreLink’s large machinery park and mingle among the exhibitor tents.
